Military Police National Motorcycle Relay Ride

Andrew Stewart

Andrew was born in Dalhousie, New Brunswick and now resides in Enfield, Nova Scotia. He is both self-taught from back before courses, and then Instructor trained, attending Military and National Safety council motorcycle operator courses.  With the exception of Military motorcycles, Andrew got away from bikes for quite a period while his family grew and during the illness and loss of his wife, retuning to the passion in 2008.

His first bike back was an 81 Yamaha 850 which he put on 19000km on in 2008.  In 2009, he decided that it was time for a bike better suited for long distance driving and he purchased a 2009 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Ultra from one of our Silver Level Sponsors, Privateers Harley Davidson in Halifax.

Andrew is widowed but will be accompanied on this trip by Betty Calder another native Nova Scotian.  He is currently employed as a Class B Reserve Warrant Officer with the Canadian Forces Cyber Blue team as the Troop Warrant Officer and 2 IC. He retired from the Regular Force in 2004 after completing 25 years as a Military Policeman.

Andrew is the second of two national riders who completed the inaugural Military Police National Motorcycle Relay Ride in 2009.
