Betty celebrated her 50th birthday this summer, she has a 5 year old grand daughter, two grown daughters and one son in Heaven. Betty has been widowed 2 years now and has spent most of that time (with her eldest daughters help) taking over and running her late husbands business.
Betty has driven bike in years past but has found she much prefers being "The-Chick-On-The-Back". Though she has been to Europe she had never been further west than the Ottawa area when it comes to touring Canada.
Betty has been very active in her church over the years including singing in the group Praise who spent 15 years in prison ministry taking the Word of God to inmates throughout Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.
She believes,"This will be a trip of a life time. A chance to help others while enjoying this wonderful land God gave us!"
