Military Police National Motorcycle Relay Ride
Bob Edwards

Bob is a native Nova Scotian who was born in Sydney Mines, Cape Breton and now resides in Cole Harbour. He is a self-taught motorcyclist from 1982, when there weren’t many courses to take! His first bike was a Kawasaki 440 which he gave to his spouse and he bought a 1979 Kawasaki 750. There were a few lean years of riding while the children were growing and in 2002,
Bob bought a new Yamaha Midnight Venture off the showroom floor in Pointe-a-la-Croix QC. Last year Bob bought his current bike from Privateer’s Harley Davidson, one of our Silver Level Sponsors. It is a 2009 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Classic.
Bob is married to Norma Edwards, one of the other national riders and he is currently employed as a Class B Reserve Officer with JTFA HQ in Halifax. He retired from the Regular Force in 2007 after completing 28 years as an Aero Engine Technician and later, a Military Police Officer.
Bob is one of the two national riders who completed the inaugural Military Police National Motorcycle Relay Ride in 2009.
